Summary
Senior Solicitor (HYBRID) needed in Wolverhampton, £26.32ph PAYE - Reference: 7200
Provision of legal advice in respect of children and young people and education services
- Undertaking advocacy in all tiers of the Family Court and High Court to include initial hearings, CMHS, FCMH, IRHs, directions hearings and Final Hearings
- Responsible for and progressing own caseload of public child care matters and PLO matters
- Drafting court applications and pleadings
- Preparing and reviewing documents, statements and orders for the purpose of court proceedings
- Liaising with 3rd party agencies to obtain evidence where necessary
- Filing and serving documents
- Undertaking legal research
- Instructing Counsel, drafting briefs and negotiating fees.
- Active involvement in client care and business development
- Able to attend the office twice a week and attend hearings in person
- Length of contract will be 3 months, with the view to be extended.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
