Summary
As Finance Business Partner, you will:
• Collaborate with service managers and senior leaders to provide financial advice and challenge.
• Lead on budget setting, monitoring, and forecasting for designated service areas.
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support business cases, investment decisions, and performance improvement.
• Support the development of financial strategies aligned with corporate priorities.
• Champion continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
• A qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong business partnering experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in local government or public sector finance is desirable but not essential.
