Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team. The Driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, or materials, to designated destinations, while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
Transport goods, to assigned locations on schedule.
Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Load and unload cargo when required, ensuring items are handled with care.
Perform routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, lights, brakes).
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays promptly.
Maintain accurate trip records, mileage logs, and delivery documentation.
Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Qualifications & Skills
Valid driver’s license (appropriate category/class for vehicle type).
Proven driving experience with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with local routes, GPS systems, and traffic regulations.
Ability to lift and move heavy packages (for delivery roles).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
Working Conditions
May require early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Work may involve long hours of driving and physical activity.
