Summary
Based at our Sale Water Park Office in Greater Manchester, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Greater Manchester mid-week volunteers group.
Your duties will include organising and delivering high quality, practical conservation projects for volunteers and developing and maintaining partner relationships. There will be a requirement to support the management of budgets and resources, including vehicles, tools and equipment and to maintain safe working practices.
This role will also require the successful candidate to recruit, supervise and manage volunteers to deliver conservation and environmental improvements at a variety of sites for a range of clients. You will need to maintain records of activities and report to funders as required and assist in income generation, where appropriate.
You will have experience of working with volunteers, a wide range of practical conservation skills and the personality, aptitude and experience to share them with volunteers of differing abilities. IT literacy and basic financial skills are required and a driving licence is essential.
