Summary
What will happen if you aren’t able to get agency works in for Tuesday?
• Service disruption/partial service failure
• The Engineering Manager will need to cover the morning run on 1 SEN route – Not sustainable and in use as a last emergency
• Utilise third party transport providers to transport children via smaller vehicles – additional cost, again not sustainable
• Ask parents to help – again, not good practice and defeats the object of providing statutory transport
Do we know what the longer-term plan is for those 3 individuals e.g. are they LTS or is this short-term sickness?
• 1 x FTE – Upon return to go through a formal process as he recently attended a Stage 2 for attendance issues
• 1 x FTE – Has lost is PCV entitlement for a year. Allocate other duties that allow him to drive a small bus for adult social care
