Pupil Support Assistant
Craiglockhart and Stenhouse Primary Schools
Salary: £25,905 - £26,111 (pro-rata for part-time & sessional)
Hours: various up to 27.5 per week, 39 weeks
Craiglockhart and Stenhouse Primary Schools are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our teams as Pupil Support Assistants. These posts may involve some personal care working and 1:1 with a child. Previous experience working with children would be desirable.
There are several posts available:
- Craiglockhart Primary School- 25 hrs Permanent: Mon - Thurs 9.00 - 3.15, Fri 9.00 - 12.15
- Stenhouse Primary School 27.5hrs Permanent: Mon - Thurs 8.30 - 3.15, Fri 8.30 - 12.15
- Stenhouse Primary Schoo 20hrs Fixed Term until 31/03/26: Mon - Thurs 9 - 1.15, Fri 9 - 12

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
