Summary

Stirling Council is looking to recruit a Democratic Support Coordinator to join the Democratic Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to assist in the management and delivery of a full range of democratic and civic support to Stirling Council, its elected members, staff, Committees, Panels, Working Groups and associated bodies. The post holder will assist in the running of all Council, Committee, Panel and other statutory meetings. The post holder will have line management responsibility for the administration team and be responsible for coordinating support for elections.

It is essential that that successful candidate can manage a diverse workload to support the meeting of statutory deadlines and provide leadership through challenging situations. The successful candidate requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail. Experience of governance and working with boards and/or elected members are also essential.
