We are seeking to recruit a part time art technician to provide expertise and assistance in our outstanding Visual Arts team. We have achieved the Gold Arts Mark award and our Visual Arts department provides high quality resources and an excellent learning environment for our students. In this role you will assist staff in the preparation of materials and equipment, guide our students with the completion of practical work and provide training for the safe use of our machinery. You will also have the opportunity to identify and suggest areas for improvement within the department. You should be suitably qualified to teach within a sixth form college. In addition, you should have excellent communication skills and a track record of sustained improvement leading to a positive impact on students’ progress.
