Summary
Highfields Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Lunchtime Supervisor to work one hour per day Monday - Friday (from 12.00 – 1.00pm), term time only. You will be required to attend INSET days and all mandatory training. Initially this appointment will be fixed term for one academic year until 10th July 2026.
You will support children’s safety, wellbeing and behaviour during their lunch break. A positive and cheery attitude is essential. Ideally having experience of working with children, you will need to be able to communicate appropriately with children, helping them to play with friends in a safe and kind way.
We are looking for someone who can:
• Work well as part of our team• Encourage children to have good eating habits and assist young children as required• Maintain acceptable standards of behaviour, conduct and safety• Help set up and clear the dining hall• Help keep the dining hall and dining tables clean• Administer First Aid as necessary and complete the accident log.To find out more about the school, please visit the school website Highfields Primary School (highfields-pri.leicester.sch.uk)
