We currently seeking an outstanding individual to join us as a Finance Assistant.

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.

It is expected that interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Ensuring that supplier payments are processed through the Accounts Payable module of the Finance system, in a timely manner.

  • Processing purchase invoices through the Accounts Payable module of the Finance system (registering and matching), in a timely manner.

  • Maintaining, efficiently filing, and storing supplier.

  • Assisting with supplier related queries, and updating supplier records, as and when necessary.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Recognised Finance qualification, or actively progressing to achieve.

  • Knowledge and experience in using financial systems, spreadsheets, and databases.

  • Significant experience of working within a financial environment.

  • Thorough understanding of purchase and sales ledger processing.
