Summary
Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification This is a regional position across the Royal Surrey Foundation Trust (RSH) and Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH). Health and Safety is paramount within they Royal Surrey Foundation Trust and its subsidiary company Healthcare Partners and Ashford and St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.. You will expected to partner with all departments and deliver health and safety advice and guidance to tight deadlines. You will responsible for a team of three: two health safety and one manual handling advisor and continuously improve the provision of the Health and Safety service. Competencies: You will have a proven track record in building, leading and motivating the team Demonstrable commitment to and focus on quality, promoting high standards to consistently improve patient care outcomes Excellent listening skills Highest professional ethics and professional presence Passion for results: The ability to find creative solutions and generate results, a strong sense of urgency and the ability to infuse that in others Experienced at working effectively across multiple levels of an organization and building successful cross functional partnerships Qualifications: Educated to degree level Membership of professional organisation (Institution of Fire Engineers) Experience of Fire Safety in a NHS environment HTM Fire Risk Assessors Training Proven experience in Health/Safety and Fire 3 years experience in an acute trust Demonstrated ability to organise and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment A great teammate who is passionate about always delivering to the highest possible standard Strong leadership and management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
