Summary
You will complete complex assessments and interventions and will make high impact clinical decisions. You will be expected to work autonomously whilst drawing assistance from other colleagues in primary and secondary care.You will use evidence based principles/current best practise and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions and to ensure that all members of your team do so accordingly. As a lead Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist within the team, you will provide excellent supervision and guidance, to junior therapist and therapy students to deliver evidence based rehabilitation. You will manage your own caseload, providing individual Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy assessments and access visits to patients in their own homes and care homes. You will lead on manual handling, pressure care and equipment needs within the team and support the team lead. You will deputise for the Therapy lead as appropriate.
