Summary

The Front of House Security Officer is a key ambassador for the building and the wider security team, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and occupiers. This high profile, customer facing role combines exceptional service delivery with professional security awareness to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.The FoH Officer will be expected to deliver a polished and approachable front-line presence, while remaining vigilant and proactive in identifying and deterring any suspicious activity, including potential Hostile Reconnaissance and protesters. The role is critical in supporting both the building’s security strategy and its reputation for excellence in visitor experience at this unique commercial skyscraper located in the financial district of the City of London; the 38-storey building is 687,000 sq. ft of high-quality office accommodation.Information:Position: Front of House Security OfficerLocation: City of London (EC3M)Pay Rate: £14.84 per hourHours: 60 hours per weekShifts: Days - Monday to Friday - 07:00 to 19:00 Job Requirements:SIA Door Supervisor Licence requiredExperience in high end corporate front of house, corporate security, or concierge servicesExcellent written and verbal communication and customer service skillsA friendly, professional demeanour, courteous, and outgoing characterTo always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation.Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk for extended periods of time during shift.Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.Strong situational awareness, understanding of Hostile Reconnaissance behaviours.Ability to remain professional under pressure and respond effectively in dynamic situations.Must be flexible and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needsBe confident you can undertake 100% of all specific dutiesBe able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requestedJob Responsibilities: Meeting and greeting in reception, providing a warm 5-star greeting, ensuring all receive VIP treatment.To be the part of the team that is the face of the companies we represent.To ensure guests and visitors are given an excellent standard of greeting and care whilst in the building.To ensure that all business needs are met, and that the company’s reputation is enhanced through the provision of exemplary reception, bookings, and concierge services.To be articulate and well informed and to ensure that customers and visitors’ needs pre-empted, met, and exceeded. Job Duties:To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently and ensure that an exceptional high standard of customer service is always provided, personally taking responsibility for their requests to ensure that they are completed, if not exceeding, their expectationsTo communicate regularly with any new and important issues that may arise.Report suspicious items or activity immediately.Monitor visitor access and verify credentials.Conduct hostile reconnaissance checks in lobby and surrounding areas.Collaborate with reception, building management and all service partners.Remain alert to protestor action and escalate activity immediately.Actively support the detection and deterrence of hostile reconnaissance through confident engagement, observation, and timely reporting.Monitor footfall and maintain an organised, safe flow of people through entrances and common areas.Respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies or escalations, including evacuations or first aid situations.Assist with ID checks, visitor sign-in procedures, and maintaining the integrity of access control points.Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and conduct, reflecting the prestige of the building.To always ensure great teamwork both within and outside the department, always demonstrating a “can do” approach and solutions.To maintain and actively utilise a portfolio of information to assist with customer queries, such as transport, restaurants, and shops.To assist in any other reasonable duties as required.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailored Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsAnd much more!!A globally recognised Security Solutions Specialist delivering service excellence, to our Customers, Colleagues, and Communities.
