This is a hybrid role and involves travel.

About the Role

As a key member of our Development Team, the Project Manager will oversee and coordinate external consultant teams, main contractors, subcontractors, and in-house maintenance teams to ensure the successful delivery of refurbishment and fit-out projects across our hospitality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute instructions and objectives set by the Group Property Director.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders, maintaining clarity under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Exercise professional judgment to resolve design and construction challenges during planning, design management, and construction phases.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all internal and external team members.
  • Provide regular updates and support to the Group Property Director on all project-related matters.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including Head Office, internal departments, building control authorities, external consultants, and contractors.
  • Manage the design team throughout planning, design, building control, and construction stages, from inception to project completion.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of design and delivery schedules to meet procurement and project objectives.
  • Review and monitor design team and contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with company standards and completeness of information.
  • Oversee contractor Health & Safety documentation and site performance.
  • Monitor contractor construction programs and methodologies to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Directly manage and supervise projects, including resource allocation, material procurement, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure internal design teams and contractors provide quality project information promptly

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in management of hotel refurbishments. Previous experience in the hotel, spa, or leisure sectors is highly desirable. The role requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
