Summary
Minister of Religion T2
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Hours: 37.5hours per week – Flexible including weekends & Bank Holidays
Salary: £24,500.00
REF: Minister of Religion T2
Emmanuel Celebration Centre is looking to recruit one experienced Minister of Religion to join our expanding team here at Emmanuel Celebration Centre.
Duties include:
• Conduct core ordinances of the Christian faith such as preaching as well as Bible based teachings
• Conduct Marital counselling
• Organise and lead prayer meetings.
• Conduct discipleship programmes that culminate with baptism.
• To support our sick members spiritually through prayers and communion service.
• To ensure that all our safeguarding policies are well implemented, with regular trainings conducted amongst all volunteers.
• Assisting the senior pastor to setup home fellowships.
• Doing home visits to offer pastoral care to the church members
MINIMUM SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• The candidate must be a Christian with Pentecostal background.
• Must have 5 years’ experience working as a minister of religion.
• Must be committed to Christ and, have a passion for the people.
• Living a Christian life following Christian conduct.
• An understanding of and commitment to the church’s mission statement and core values.
• Must be self -motivated, takes initiative, has creative skills.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team player.
• A willingness to work within church policies. On time for services and other meetings as required by the Pastor.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write Kiswahili is also desirable.

Terms of appointment:
• There is a probation of six months appointment
• A full enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment
• Duration of employment: 3-year fixed term contract.
