Everyone Deserves Care—No Matter Where They Live
At Beehive Care & Training Group Ltd, we believe that no one should be left without support, whether they live in a busy town or a quiet cottage down a winding country lane. We're proud to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to rural communities across Devon, and we’re looking for compassionate carers who share our commitment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the countryside and is confident driving to remote locations via narrow country lanes, often in early mornings, evenings, and all weather conditions.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll bring comfort, dignity, and companionship to people in their own homes, helping with:
Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Preparing meals and helping with hydration
Prompting and administering medication
Providing emotional support and friendly conversation
Assisting with mobility
Light household tasks (laundry, tidying, fresh bed linen)
Logging care notes via our easy-to-use mobile app
You’ll become a familiar, trusted face—someone who truly makes a difference in someone’s day, especially in places where care is harder to reach.
When You’ll Work
We offer flexible shifts built around your availability, with a particular need for:
Evening shifts: Typically 4:00pm–10:00pm
Weekend mornings, afternoons, or full days
Alternate weekend availability is essential
Extra shifts available via our Click to Care app—just pick what suits you!
We’ll work with you to create a rota that fits your life while ensuring consistency for our clients.
What You’ll Need
A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car
Confidence driving in rural areas, including country lanes and remote locations
The right to work in the UK (we’re not able to offer sponsorship)
A caring, reliable attitude and good timekeeping
Confidence using a smartphone to manage schedules and care notes
Experience is welcome, but not essential—we’ll support and train you every step of the way
What You’ll Get
£26,000 annual salary (pro rata for part-time)
45p per mile travel allowance
28 days paid holiday
Your birthday off—paid!
Care Friends bonus scheme – get rewards for referrals and recognition
Paid induction and a 12-week mentoring programme
Ongoing training and career development
Free uniform
Pension scheme
Pick up extra shifts easily through Click to Care
A supportive, close-knit team that genuinely values you
