We are expanding our business & are looking for an experienced cleaning supervisor, who will work alongside a cleaning assistant.
The Cleaning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of cleaning staff to ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This role involves supervising cleaning personnel, inspecting work, maintaining supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities-
- Liaise with clients
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff.
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, use of equipment, and safety protocols.
- Allocate work duties, when on site.
- Inspect completed work to ensure high cleaning standards are met.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, including health and safety.
- Address staff or client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the directors.
- Keep records of hours worked, incidents, supplies used, and tasks completed.
- Open and lock up, holding keys (Where required)
Key requirements
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence
- Must have own car
- Be flexible with working hours between 7am-7pm
- Proven experience in a cleaning role with supervisory experience preferred.
