Summary
You will be supporting the production and NPD team with the development and quality of new and existing food products, working closely with the site Production manager and Technical manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing onsite bake ups to assess quality attributes, including but not limited to visual inspections, sensory evaluations, and measurements of key attributes.
• Mixing and sending NPD/EPD samples to customers
• Manage storage of sample stocks ensuring effective BBD management and compliance with food safety standards
• Ensure cleaning standards are maintained within test kitchen and sample storage rooms
• Provide support for NPD and EPD
• Support transition from kitchen samples to factory trials
• Assist with adhoc duties assigned by NPD manager and/or Technical Manager
Skills
• The applicant should have experience/interest in the food industry primarily in the bakery sector
• Self-motivated with an ability to organise and prioritise own workload
• Proficient IT skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc…
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication skills
