Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Pay: £15.00 per hour / £30,030 per annum (base) / up to £32,760 with paid breaks
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 38.5 per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00pm – 8:00am, two-week rolling rota
Week 1: Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Care Team Leader (Nights) to join a dedicated team within a modern, purpose-built care service in Chorley. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead and support the night care team, ensuring the highest standards of care for residents.
You will be responsible for supervising staff, overseeing care delivery, managing medication safely, and acting as the main point of contact during night shifts in the absence of senior management.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the night team, ensuring effective handovers and support.
Manage night rotas to maintain safe staffing levels.
Maintain clear communication with management, escalating concerns where needed.
Conduct team meetings, providing feedback and guidance to staff.
Oversee safe medication management and administration.
Experience & Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Experience in a similar setting, ideally with dementia and elderly care knowledge.
Proven leadership skills, including staff supervision and appraisals.
Understanding of safe medication management and protocols.
