VACANCY – Goods Inwards / Despatch
ESS Employment are working with an established, successful client who are seeking someone experienced Goods Inwards / Despatch.
Duties:
• To receive goods in from supplier and deal with delivery notes
• Checking of paperwork to ensure items are correct
• Must be numerate as some measuring of goods and checking of weights
• Picking of goods, sorting of orders, palletise/ wrap
• Loading of company vehicles (transits) to distribute good to clients
• Arrange deliveries with couriers if applicable
• Must have valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Basic computer skills required, training will be provided on the software package
• There will be some lifting of stock
• Following a successful trial period there could be some machine operating as and when required.
The candidate:
• Warehouse experience
• Must be flexible with job duties and working hours
• Numerate and able to use a tape measure
• Forklift experience with a licence
• Good working knowledge of a stock picking system
• First aid (advantageous)

Overtime may be required to work including odd weekends.
