Summary
Patient Care: Must be medically qualified with GMC registration. Provide expert outpatient hypertension management and support complex cases across specialties. Involve patients in care decisions and attend all clinical sessions. Research & Teaching: Collaborate on research and contribute to postgraduate training and supervision. Teach medical students and healthcare professionals. Develop a research portfolio, including grant applications. Performance & Management: Ensure clinical efficiency, quality outcomes, and cost-effective service delivery. Participate in appraisals, mentoring, recruitment, and junior staff management. Governance & Leadership: Monitor clinical outcomes, participate in audits, and implement NICE guidelines. Lead teams, resolve conflicts, and represent the Trust in external forums.
