Summary
Our well established client, based in Hatfield, requires LGV Class 1 driver to help its busy operational distribution to stores. AM and PM shifts and weekend work available on set shift patterns. Full training provided and written and driving assessment would need to be taken on site. Minimum HGV driving experience required 4 months.
Main duties of LGV Class 1 driver will include:
- Delivery of caged goods to Stores or Distribution Centres
- Making sure your load is safe and all vehicle and trailer checks are completed
- Completion of all delivery paperwork from client to store
- Between 1-4 drops per day depending on location
Shifts of LGV Class 1 driver:
- Various PM shifts start times between 13:00 to midnight
- Various AM shifts start times between 04:00am and 12:00pm
- Shift patterns - Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
Pay Rates of LGV Class 1 driver:
- Monday to Sunday PM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £21.76 per hour
- PM Overtime after 8 hours per day £32.65 per hour
- Monday to Sunday AM Days shift - PAYE Pay Rate £20.44 per hour
- AM Overtime after 8 hours per day £30.65 per hour
