We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join an industry leader in Cwmbran to work permanent days, Monday - Friday.
As Stores Operative you will:
- Handle, check goods inwards, goods outwards & control the inventory functions of main stores.
- Supervise stock components from work in progress to finished goods, as well as outgoing packages while assuming accuracy and quality.
- Operate company equipment such as forklifts, tools & testing equipment.
- Co-coordinate company freight inwards & outwards activities, with freight forwarding services.
- Be responsible for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.
- Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.
- Upkeep / maintenance of stores area - Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.
This is a permanent role with excellent prospects for future growth and development. You'll need to be able to work on your on initiative and possess a mechanically inclined mindset as well as a Counter Balance licence.
