Summary

Forest Schools Leader £13.41 ph
We are looking for a Level 3 Forest School Leader to join our team of casual staff. As well as face to face delivery of our broad and diverse Forest School sessions the successful applicant would also have the opportunity to help support with Explore Outdoor behind the scenes with tasks such as report righting, site strategy and development and updating social media.
This is a casual position and hours would be offered on an ad hoc basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a safe environment
• Setting up lessons and down sessions, including equipment
• Providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience for our guests.
• Communicating effectively with students and families for a positive experience
• Supporting the Outdoor Education Manager in projects
• Flexibility on shift if support is required elsewhere
• Travelling to locations around West Suffolk to deliver sessions (mileage is paid appropriately)
Requirements:
• Confident Communicator
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Confident driver with full UK driving licence
Qualifications:
Level 3 Forest School Leader- essential

We will provide additional training for all staff to be able to deliver a broad range of outdoor activities beyond that of the Forest School curriculum with opportunities to become archery, axe throwing and mountain bike instructors as an example.
