We are seeking a motivated Sector Supervisor to provide direct line management for front-line staff, supporting the KAN business across all self-delivered activities in the UK sector.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee a range of excellent working environments while managing your own schedule, provided that teams are supported and sites are regularly visited.


Job Description

As Sector Supervisor, you will work alongside both direct and indirect account teams to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.

It’s an ideal stepping stone for someone looking to progress into Cleaning Sector Management, offering hands-on leadership experience and the chance to make a real impact on service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring cleaning standards and service delivery meet contract requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client escalations and issue reporting.
Support and guide placemakers to achieve contract-specific service levels, conducting regular site visits.
Assist in recruitment, vetting, training, and performance management of staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures and LMS requirements.
Maintain and control consumable stocks, storerooms, and site audits to meet agreed standards.
Ensure correct use of time & attendance systems, manage payroll, and cover staff absences to maintain SLA compliance.
Develop and motivate the team, promoting high morale and adherence to company and client policies.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Supervisory or management experience, ideally within the cleaning sector.
Proven experience managing teams across multiple sites.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with various electrical cleaning equipment.
Understanding of health and safety standards, including IOSH and COSHH.
Ability to train and develop staff in operational and safety procedures.
Strong organisational and communication skills to manage multi-site operations.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
