Just like our children, we are growing! RAFAKidz started out as one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF community. We are excited to announce that we have been invited to bring our expertise and touch of magic to a brand-new setting to provide high quality affordable childcare at RAF Wittering. The nursery opened in April and we are looking for a Nursery Cleaner to join us.
RAFAKidz Wittering is a welcoming 99-place setting for children from 3 months to 5 years. We create a safe, stimulating and happy learning environment, conveniently located just off the A1. Open five days a week from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, we offer peace of mind for parents seeking quality care. Our dedicated staff lead a variety of exciting adult-led activities while also promoting child-initiated play. This encourages children to explore their creativity at their own pace. We make sure to keep parents updated on their child’s progress through our wonderful app, and provide healthy, nutritious meals each day to support their well-being and development. We also operate a wraparound school care club and holiday club for primary school aged children.
About the role
We have a position available for a part time Nursery Cleaner to join our friendly team. Whilst previous experience would be desirable, it is not essential. Our ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude, a cheerful personality, and a good eye for detail. Along with the usual cleaning responsibilities as you would expect with a role of this type, we need the post holder to have an awareness of Health and Safety as our children’s safety is paramount. We will provide training which will enable you to be vigilant with regards to cleaning products and equipment and enable you to identify and report any risks which may pose an injury to children and staff, for example broken play equipment, wobbly furniture etc.
