Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and enhance the quality of care provided across multiple children's homes in Staffordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all services meet regulatory standards and deliver exceptional care to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of children's homes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and improvement plans.
- Provide training and support to staff to promote best practices in care provision.
- Monitor and review policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
- Collaborate with home managers to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Prepare detailed reports on the quality of services and present findings to senior management.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and promote a culture of safety and well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Childcare, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a quality assurance role within children's services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel across Staffordshire to visit various homes.
