Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our Sodexo team at HMRCBelfast. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the building is kept clean, safe, and welcoming, while also supporting with porterage, hospitality setups, and general facilities tasks.

What You’ll Do:Maintain the cleanliness of all areas in line with Service Level Agreements (daily, weekly, quarterly, annual tasks).
Set up meeting rooms and assist with last-minute changes.
Support hospitality requests such as coffee stations, working lunches, and refreshments.
Operate cleaning equipment safely after full training is provided.
Report any maintenance issues, risks, or hazards immediately.
Use appropriate safety signage (e.g., wet floor signs).
Keep cleaning stores and cupboards organised and safe.
Deliver post and mailroom items as required.
Assist with the movement of furniture and stores when needed.
Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for visitors.
Work flexibly to cover holidays and sickness across the team.
Participate in training, team meetings, and contribute to service improvements.

Friendly, approachable, and professional when dealing with customers.
Able to follow health & safety, COSHH, and cleaning procedures (training provided).
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, flexible, and willing to support across different areas when needed.
Well-presented, with high standards of personal hygiene and uniform care.
- Experience in cleaning, facilities, or customer service is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
