Summary

Phoenix Futures is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Trainee Recovery worker at Communities of Recovery Fife.

Part-time 15 hours, Fixed Term

£9,854.80 pro-rata (FTE £24,637)

The Role

As a Trainee Recovery worker work as part of a team inducting and training Volunteer Peer Mentors from within the local community that offer support to Phoenix Futures service users. You will also seek opportunities to increase visible recovery across Fife. You will be providing support to those with substance misuse issues and supporting in their recovery through relapse prevention and care planning. You will also act as an advocate for these service users, signposting and referring to the necessary agencies in order to support them in their recovery holistically.

About You

As an individual, we are looking for someone who is

- self-motivated
- can work on their own initiative, but more importantly, as part of a team
- You will need good communication and organisational skills
- The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults presenting with substance, alcohol and associated issues.
