Summary

This position will require you to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that facilitates the operation of the public transport network within Hull.
As a Bus Stop Assistant you will assist in the provision of accurate and timely information at bus stops and other associated sites throughout the city, examples such as Hull Interchange and Priory Park, by fixing and maintaining bus stop plates / timetable cases / timetable information and Road Closure notifications around the Hull City Council network.
You will also be required to drive a fleet vehicle on a daily basis, collate infrastructure data at bus stops through the internal ICT system and keep departmental records up to date by using a hand held device (PDA or equivalent). Information that needs recording will include advertising campaigns, timetable and network information.
