Summary

A volunteer opportunity has become available within the Fundraising Team for a passionate and community-focused volunteer. This role will involve supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts to help raise funds for therapeutic activities, equipment, projects, education, and research that go above and beyond standard NHS funding. These initiatives enhance patient care, staff wellbeing, and the quality of local healthcare services

Your Hearts & Minds is the dedicated charity for Rotherham, Doncaster, and North Lincolnshire NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH). We raise funds to support activities, research, education, and therapeutic resources that would not otherwise be possible within NHS budgets. We are committed to improving care experiences, enhancing staff morale, and making a meaningful difference in local patient wellbeing

We are looking to recruit a volunteer who will support organising fundraising initiatives and appeals (such as the Therapy Pool Appeal & St Johns Hospice), engaging with local communities and healthcare staff, helping grow support for our five key fundraising priorities—“a good start,” “our best self,” “powering research,” “promoting education and learning,” and “a good death”—and contributing to raising awareness of our causes across Rotherham, Doncaster, and North Lincolnshire.

For more duties about this volunteer role, please see attached role description.

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) employ around 4000 talented colleagues who are very much appreciated, valued, and respected.
