JOB DESCRIPTION
Part-Time Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a lady living in the Pontypridd area and would like a PA to support me when we are out in the community as I am epileptic so just need piece of mind and reassurance that if I was to have a seizure when I am out I have support. I am not on any rescue meds so no training is needed but some experience or knowledge would be good.
I would like to go Swimming and to the Gym on a Tuesday and a Thursday and would like a PA to join in with my activities. Wednesday will be social or maybe some shopping.
I have just completed a degree in costume design and construction and like lots of things including Music and reading. I have a dog that I would like to be able to take for a walk from time to time so would need company to do that also.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Main reason for job is to support at home, out in the community, respite for family.
RATE(S) OF PAY
£14.50 per hour + mileage.
HOURS OF WORK
There are 5 hours per week available on a regular basis to support me out in the community. As and when needed if I have had a seizure there are also extra hours that I can use so that my PA can support me around the house whilst my husband goes to work. This can be discussed further at interview stage.

Any other reasonable task

Female only as you will be assisting me in the changing rooms whilst swimming.

ABOUT THE JOB
This position is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS Disclosure (Police Check), which must be completed prior to the commencement of employment. The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number. Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a four-weekly / monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
