What you need to know

Hours: 1 vacancy for 35 hours per week working flexible shifts including evenings and weekends to meet the demands of the service.

Contract type:

  • 1 x Fixed Term until 4th September 2026

Pay details: The listed salary is for a full-time role.

Location: City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As an Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Venue Manager. You’ll play an essential role in the successful operational management of our venues. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:

  • Supporting our communities
  • Helping people get active
  • Creating cultural experiences
  • Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen

Who you are

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in a venue management related position
  • Experience of supervising the work of a team, allocating staff as appropriate and monitoring results
  • Experience of events management including duty management, planning for events, and managing health and safety
  • Good communication, customer service and influencing skills
