Location: Manchester Depot (M17 1TU)
Reporting to: Regional Logistics Financial Controller
Contract Type: 12-month fixed term maternity cover
Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for logistics? We’re looking for a Regional Finance Analyst for a fixed term of 12 months to join our team and support financial operations across our Northern logistics network. This role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for development and cross-functional collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
- Support budgetary cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare management accounts and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct weekly and monthly variance analysis to inform decision-making.
- Assist in managing relationships with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Liaise with Site Outbound Logistics Managers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Maintain financial control and manage risks within the logistics area.
- Implement checks for accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly journals in SAP and Movex.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports on cost bridging, labour, and volume.
- Contribute to regional budget preparation and biannual forecasts.
- Build effective cross-functional relationships across sites.
- Provide team support and cover as needed.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis.Key Requirements
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
- Experience in detailed reconciliations.
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
