Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join, or to further develop your career within the innovative South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. We are looking to recruit an Administrative Assistant who would be responsible for managing a centralised mobile equipment team, who will facilitate the distribution and monitoring of all social work mobile device, and the Electronic Document Management team who will facilitate the processing of all electronic service user documents and maintain the EDRMS system.

As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for the management of information and will deliver a diverse range of services including:
- Line manage a group of clerical assistants who will, alongside you, carry out tasks detailed below.
Management and coordination of all laptops and mobile phones.
Completion of IT task requests for new staff.
Coordination of mobile equipment, including ordering new and dealing with the refresh of existing equipment.
INV2 process through the new workflow process.
Updating mobile phone inventory and vCol (Vodaphone register where a mobile phone is linked to a named worker).
Stock control, ensuring sufficient stock for new posts.
Diary management of appointments for the distribution of equipment –
- to new staff
during IT refresh.
Reception cover – meet and greet scheduled appointments.
Collation and distribution of information and deploying resources to meet service objectives.
Process all incoming document through the EDRMS system in relation to service user and maintain the system.
Within this role, you will require excellent communication skills and be able to build positive working relationships with admin and operational staff and managers. You will be required to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and delegate work effectively. You should be flexible in your approach, to meet the demands of the post.
