Location: Covering Braintree, Witham, Halstead, Hedingham, Chelmsford, Dunmow, Stansted, Sudbury, Glemsford and surrounding areas.

Forest Homecare is recruiting Community Care Assistants. No experience is necessary as full paid training is provided.

Your main duties will include:

Helping our Service Users maintain their independence and dignity.
Assisting our Service Users with all aspects of personal care such as dressing, undressing, bathing, and toileting.
Supporting with preparing and serving meals.
Maintaining the service user’s physical environment including laundry, changing, and making beds, tidying, and light cleaning duties
Working in partnership with all relevant professionals to provide a strength-based, outcomes-focused approach to your work.

We provide care 365 days a year between the hours of 6 am to 11 pm and split this over 4 shifts (Morning, Lunch, Tea, and Bed).

We can offer you full or part-time hours including every other weekend or one day every weekend.

Experience:

This role is varied, and every day is different, so being adaptable, and using your common sense and initiative are a ‘must’ for this role. You do not need to have worked as a Care Assistant before applying to us, but all experience in this field will help. As well, those who have worked in any hospitality, customer service, or retail sector, as many transferrable skills can be utilized in this field.

Forest Homecare is committed to ongoing training and supervision, qualifications, and continuing professional development. We also provide an extensive induction on the commencement of employment. Therefore, experience is not essential, just a willingness to learn and implement all necessary skills for the safety and well-being of the service users.
