Summary
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Rang to join our team at a distinguished country house hotel. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a refined setting.
Key Responsibilities:
-Provide seamless, attentive, and professional table service to guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
-Manage a designated section of the dining room, ensuring flawless service and guest satisfaction.
-Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow.
-Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including specials, ingredients, and wine pairings, to offer informed recommendations.
-Uphold the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and hygiene in the dining areas.
-Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and care.
-Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or similar role in a fine dining or high-end hospitality environment.
-Exceptional customer service skills with a warm and professional demeanor.
-Strong knowledge of food, beverages, and wine service.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
-Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
-Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
