Role: Domestic Assistant
Location: Inglewood Nursing Home, 7-9 Neville Avenue, Eastbourne, BN22 9PR
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: 10 hours working 9am - 2pm Saturday & Sunday.
As part of our friendly housekeeping team, you’ll help keep our home sparkling clean and infection-free, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene in residents’ rooms and shared spaces. It’s more than just cleaning it’s about creating a sense of pride, dignity and wellbeing for everyone who lives here.
What you’ll be doing:
- Keeping residents’ rooms and communal areas clean, tidy and sanitised to a high standard
- Following cleaning schedules and infection control procedures carefully and consistently
- Working closely with the Head of Housekeeping and wider team to ensure daily tasks are completed
- Respecting residents’ personal space and privacy while building warm and positive relationships
- Reporting any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly to the appropriate person
- Taking pride in your work and being a valued part of the home’s day-to-day life
