The Role:

The Area Team Leader is a pivotal role in the Building Control team both in terms of the on site supervision of building works on major schemes as well as managing a multi disciplinary team of Registered Building Inspectors, trainees and structural engineers
The Area Team Leader will work closely with the Head of Building Control to manage the service and provide policy advice to both internal and external stakeholders
The Area Team Leader will act as a deputy to the Head of Building Control
The Area Team Leader will work on the implementation and enforcement of the Safety at Sports Grounds Act, on all three football stadium with the Liverpool boundary
The Area Team Leader will help grow the business and increase the market share working closely with the Building Control manager and Quality and Business Growth Officer and provide detailed and competitive fee quotes for Building Regulation applications
