Summary
MMA Welders – Plymouth (Submarine Project)

Location: Plymouth
Project Type: Submarine
Hours: 50 hours per week (with potential for additional hours as the project progresses)
Rates (Umbrella, inclusive of lodge):
Basic: £34.50/hr
Backshift: £42.00/hr
Weekday Nightshift: £46.00/hr
Sunday Overtime: £46.00/hr
Sunday Night: £49.00/hr
Please note:
All 50 hours are paid at the basic rate.
Candidates attending a weld test will also be paid at the basic rate.
Requirements:
Experienced MMA Welder
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Willing and able to obtain Full SC Clearance
Ability to pass a weld test
Weld Test Details (MMA):
12mm butt weld in the overhead position
25mm plate (in two stages): one side vertical, then backside horizontal
25mm plate (in two stages): overhead first, then backside downhand position
Evidence of eye test (within the last 18 months) is desirable
