Summary
Job Overview
-Support the site achieve Facilities Excellence plan
-Provide multi-skilled labour to high quality standards within the infrastructure of non-production areas
-Ensure compliance to all legislative EHS and GSK/Mitie policies
-Achieve the Facilities Excellence place
-Measurement of actual complete against planned will be measured
Main Duties
-In line with the Facilities Excellence plan carry out building fabric inspection of designated area
-Itemise necessary works reviewing
-Cleaning of light diffusers,
-Changing lamps
-High level cleaning,
-Replacement ceiling tiles,
-Carpet tile replacement/flooring condition,
-Furniture checks,
-Operation of door handles/door closers,
-Condition of signs,
-Cleaning of air vents,
-Painting and decorating
-Working at height, stepladders / ladders/ MEWP
-Source required materials to complete works
-Plan and execute necessary works -
-Plan necessary works/timescales
-Advise users within area of planned works to gain support for completion
-Book out conference rooms for required timescales to complete works
-Submit permits for works to ensure no delay to completion
-Escalate any issues with supervisor if support is needed to progress works
-Complete required paperwork / filing
-Achieve facilities excellence plan
-100% compliance with ppm schedule
-Keeping customer updated of plans and possible disruption to area
-Customer satisfaction
-Ensuring 5S is maintained during works and area is returned to customer complete and to a high standard
What we are looking for
-Highly organised - willingness to work within a team structure - flexible approach to assisting where required.
-HSE conscious and ability to work to RAMS, ability to be permit acceptor
-Can work with no/little supervision - self starter
-Customer focussed
-High personal standards and high expectations of sub-contractor performance
Three years of experience in building fabric or related works
