Summary
The Role and the Department
The Learning and Teaching Administrator (0.5FTE, 17.5 hours per week) will provide administrative support across the Departments of Music and Theology and Religion and will be responsible for assisting the Learning and Teaching Manager in administering day to day programme delivery, encompassing all areas of the taught student lifecycle from the point of enrolment to graduation.
The Learning and Teaching Administrator will work alongside a team of professional services staff, ensuring that the student experience is at the forefront of delivery. They will work closely with the Department Manager, the Learning and Teaching Manager, the Director of Undergraduate Studies and other key stakeholders in each Department to deliver efficient and innovative professional support services across all learning & teaching, student support and assessment activities. Whilst being based in the Department of Music and Department of Theology and Religion, the postholder may also work alongside learning and teaching colleagues in other departments in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at key times of the year, working on specific tasks and projects.
The Departments of Music and Theology and Religion are excellent and rewarding places to work. Our Professional Support colleagues are based in facilities located on Palace Green. Hybrid working opportunities are available, with the possibility of working up to 40% of the week (Monday to Friday) from home.
