What They're Looking For

Our client is looking for a team of experienced female Support Workers to provide 1:1 support to a young woman in her late teens, helping her live life to the fullest whilst also supporting her with essential life skills and navigating becoming an adult. You will be a positive, calm and consistent support to her day to day. This post is restricted to female applications only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

- 2+ years' experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health or behaviours that challenge.

- Level 3 Qualification in Children (or willing to work towards it).

- Driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage but not essential.

- Willing to learn, grow, and make a positive difference every single day.

- Reliable, flexible, punctual, hardworking and honest.

- Good communication skills.

- You will have a positive attitude and a great sense of humour - extra bonus points if you know any Tik Tok dances!

- Willingness to learn new skills and progress within your role.

- You will have an assertive but friendly approach.

- You must be a calm, patient and resilient person.

You'll Support Her With:

- Person-centred care in supported living and community settings.

- Daily living tasks and building independence.

- Supporting with behaviours that may challenge, responding appropriately to any emotional or behavioural distress.

- Developing life skills, confidence and positive social connections.

- Accurate record keeping and teamwork with professionals.

- Promoting a safe, respectful and empowering environment.

Shifts that work around you:

- Daytime shifts only - overtime or waking night shifts available on request.

- 8, 10 or 12 hours.
