Summary
Support the Senior Nurse and the Regional Lead for Nursing and Midwifery to deliver regional objectives, to build and preserve trusted stakeholder relationships and networks of influence among internal and external stakeholders in challenging circumstances to support the promotion of NHSEs strategic objectives. Represent regional nursing and midwifery workforce, training and education priorities and progress against regional and national objectives. Represent, as required on behalf of the Senior Nurse or Regional Lead at internal and external local, regional and national forums for areas of delegated responsibility. Engage and working closely with, peers across the region and nationally to support organisational learning, innovation, matrix working and the adoption of best practice. Hold delegated authority to negotiate to gain consensus amongst senior external stakeholders on complex and contentious issues in a political environment relating to local/regional workforce priorities.
