Summary
Provide skilled and knowledgeable care to patients with stroke and their carers. Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct care to patients withstroke. Work in an interdisciplinary manner with all members of the interdisciplinary team, and externalagencies to provide a high-quality service for patients from stroke disease, and their carers. Promoting the development of high-quality stroke services within Stroke Northumbria. To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of acollective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadershipstyle which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promoteownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working andcollaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
