Summary
Chef De Partie | Leatherhead | Full Time, Permanent |Flexible working, 5 out of 7 days with no split shifts | £30,000 – £34,000 plus tips
Our client’s Club is a busy private members' club with over 800 members.
Their food & beverage department plays a pivotal role in providing members and visitors with the complete package. Regular lunches, social events, and private celebrations fill the calendar on an annual basis, and their two bars and two function rooms cater to groups of 20 to 150 people.
You will predominantly work daytime hours on a 5 out of 7 basis; evening shifts can be dependent on functions, and weekend availability is rotated. Flexibility will be required from time to time to support the needs of the business.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Prior experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef experience
• NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent) + Level 2 Food Hygiene
• Creativity and passion for food, with the ability to contribute to menu development
• Enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• A good standard of written and spoken English
• High standards of personal presentation
• Proficiency across a range of cooking techniques and dishes
• Own transport (recommended due to location)
What will your role look like?
• Preparing and serving dishes from our day-to-day bar menu
• Assisting with preparation and service for club functions and events
• Ensuring HACCP procedures are always followed
• Maintaining a spotless workstation at all times
• Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the kitchen when the Head Chef is off
