Summary
Class 2 HGV Driver – Edinburgh
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to work with a well-established company based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for steady weekday work with the possibility of an ongoing role.
Job Details:
Start Date: Monday 1st September
Duration: 2 weeks initially, with potential extension for the right candidate
Pay: £14.00 per hour PAYE
Hours: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
Shift Pattern: 2 runs per day with approximately 8 drops per run
Unloading: All deliveries are forklifted off at site – drivers only need to open/close curtains (no handball involved)
Location: Edinburgh (base and routes local/regional)
✅ Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
Good timekeeping and reliability are essential
Ability to follow delivery schedules safely and professionally
