Job Title: Support worker/Personal Assistant
Hours per week: Upto 6 hours per week.
One hour per day to be worked across 6 mornings per week from 9 til 10am. Weekend working will be required every other week. We welcome applications from people who are only able to support on some of these days.

Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour
About me:
I am looking for someone to support my Mother within her home with her morning shower routine. She is a wheelchair user, and will require support with hoisting in and out of her chair, showering and getting dressed each day.

Can follow instructions and will establish a professional standard of care, to be always maintained.
Will not use their personal mobile phone at work unless in an emergency.
Is trustworthy, kind, punctual and reliable.
Is patient and supportive with good listening skills and an ability to provide non-judgmental emotional support.
Maintains confidentiality and respects the privacy of the family, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
Can work flexibly, adapting to the variable requirements of this role as required.
Task and duties, to include any or all the following:
To support with hoisting to/from wheelchair
To support to shower and clean teeth
To support with drying and getting dressed
Occasional support may be required with getting breakfast
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
