Summary
B&D Plastics Group Ltd supply technical pipework solutions to Utilities and industrial Process Clients across the UK between our two depots in Colchester and Aldridge. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated van driver / stores person to join our expanding Colchester team. The successful candidate would preferably have experience of driving a 3.5 tonne drop side vehicle with good understanding of the current road legislations and laws with a full clean UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities Include -
• Safely drive and operate a company van, Category B, to deliver goods to customers and sites around East Anglia.
• Load and unload deliveries efficiently, securely and safely
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Assist in the receipt, storage, picking, and packing of goods in the warehouse
• Keep the store and work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
• Carry out regular vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Work closely with the stores and logistics team to ensure smooth operations
