Are you detail-driven, organised, and passionate about quality? We’re looking for a Quality Controller to join our dedicated QA
team.
You’ll play a vital role in ensuring every product leaving site meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality.
This is a hands-on role where accuracy, diligence, and confidence are key.
Job Title: Quality Controller
Location: The Compleat Food Group, South Bank Manufacturing, Unit 2A, Nelson Street, Middlesbrough, TS6 6BJ
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off 18:00 – 06:00, average of 40.25 hours per week
Pay: £13.21 p/h.
Reporting To: QA Supervisor

What You’ll Be Doing
* Inspecting products from each pallet before dispatch, checking against specifications
* Monitoring packaging and finished product quality
* Completing QC positive releases and retained sample inspections
* Carrying out line checks, clean down verifications, and sleeve room audits
* Booking packed products in/out of site using NAV
Additional Night Shift Responsibilities:
* Paperwork audits and approvals
* Product temperature checks
* Process audits across factory areas
* Quarantining non-conforming products

* Strong people skills and ability to work well with others
* Able to work on your own initiative
* Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance
* A proactive approach to maintaining quality and compliance
